Label free quantification is a process of mass spectrometry that determine the comparative amount of proteins in biological samples. One of those strategies is spectral count and the other is spectrometric signals of extracted ion Chromatograms for protein expression. Each samples is analysed expression within peptides at MS1 level. Their static isotope pattern of spectral lines are distinguished from other chemicals. Those patterns are based on retention times for chromatographic profile of elution. It is more accurate for measurement of suitable relative abundances for at least one chromatographic peak which later are integrated or dividing the sum of spectral peak intensities by the number of theoretical peptides. Thus the samples are measured individually with label-free approaches.
