Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is one of the widely used methods, performed with a normal gas chromatographic steps for fractionation of the sample compounds followed by solid phase extraction and conversion to oxime-trimethylsilyl derivatives of ethyl acetate extract. The stable derivates are freezed and stored in freezer. The fractionation results are obtained by the peak results given by the organic acid derivatives. This method is used of the determination of organic acids by investigating the derived yields, extracted solvents and conditions. They are used for the metabolic conditions of the body, organic acids for drug studies, diagnostics by analysing the diagnostic peaks.
