Paddy (Rice) Plant Probiotics Formulation by NTHRYS
Plant Probiotics Standardized by NTHRYS for Paddy (Rice) Cultivation addresses below parameters in order to assist farming community to achieve better profits in Paddy Cultivation.
Increase in grain yield and quality.
It protects the crop from pests and diseases, such as Rice Blast, Brown Planthopper, and Sheath Blight.
Enhancement in Nutrient Uptake and Metabolic Health.
Improving Plant Vigor and Grain Size.
Increases Leaf Size and Photosynthetic Efficiency.
Increases Chlorophyll Content.
Increases Soil Enzyme Activity and the Quantity and Biodiversity of Viable Microorganisms.
Enhancement in Rhizosphere Activity.
Solubilization of Phosphorus.
Solubilization of Potassium.
Increase Soil Fertility.
NTHRYS Research Team has formulated Paddy (Rice) Plant Probiotics Formulation using a battery of Microbial Consortium (> 20 strains) to address all the above Objectives.
NTHRYS Plant Probiotics should not be mistaken as Biofertilizers. They are next generation plant supporting microbiome to support respective farmers to gain good profits with their produce.
Application Process :
Soil/Water Treatment Before crop initiation : Since paddy is typically grown in flooded fields, the treatment involves preparing the water as well as the soil.
The soil and water in the paddy field are treated with formulation, before initiating Paddy planting.
3 Lit of formulation is mixed with the water used to flood the field, along with 100 Kg of Farm Yard Manure (FYM) applied to the field, 1 to 2 days before transplanting seedlings per acre.
Seed Treatment :
Paddy seeds are pre-germinated and then treated with formulation.
The pre-germinated seeds are soaked in formulation for half an hour before broadcasting. ( 200 ml of formulation for every 5kg of seeds).
Transplanting: The seedlings, once germinated, are transplanted into the flooded field prepared with the probiotics treatment.
Disease Management in Paddy :
Paddy suffers from various pests and diseases like Rice Yellow Mottle Virus, Paddy Stem Borer, and Leaf Streak.
Applying formulation to the water and soil around the plant base can help prevent these diseases and pest infestations.
Probiotic Dosage at Various Growth Phases:
After Transplanting: 500 ml of formulation + appropriate volume of water for the size of the paddy field + 1.35 kg of Epsom salt one day before applying per acre. This should be mixed in the water flooding the field, immediately after transplanting the seedlings.
Vegetative Growth Phase: Repeat the after transplanting treatment once every two weeks to support growth until the plant is fully established.
Pre-flowering and Flowering Phase: Continue with the same dosage during the pre-flowering and flowering phase to enhance grain yield and quality, applying once every two weeks.
