Plant Probiotics Standardized by NTHRYS for Orchid Cultivation addresses below parameters in order to assist farming community to achieve better profits in Orchid Cultivation.
Enhancement in bloom size, color vibrancy, and fragrance.
It protects the plant from pests and diseases, such as Spider Mites, Orchid Fleck Virus, and Fungal Rot.
Enhancement in Nutrient Uptake and Metabolic Health.
Improving Plant Vigor and Bloom Longevity.
Increases Leaf Size and Photosynthetic Efficiency.
Increases Chlorophyll Content.
Increases Soil Enzyme Activity and the Quantity and Biodiversity of Viable Microorganisms.
Enhancement in Rhizosphere Activity.
Solubilization of Phosphorus.
Solubilization of Potassium.
Increase Soil Fertility.
NTHRYS Research Team has formulated Orchid Plant Probiotics Formulation using a battery of Microbial Consortium (> 20 strains) to address all the above Objectives.
NTHRYS Plant Probiotics should not be mistaken as Biofertilizers. They are next generation plant supporting microbiome to support respective farmers to gain good profits with their produce.
Application Process :
Soil Treatment Before crop initiation : Not typically applicable for Orchids as they are often epiphytes or grown in special media.
Media Treatment Before Planting: The growing media for Orchids is treated with formulation, to improve microbial balance and nutrient availability. Mix 3 Lit of formulation with the media used for potting Orchids, at least 1 to 2 days before potting.
Plant Treatment :
Orchid plants are treated with formulation.
The plants are sprayed with formulation or the roots are soaked in a dilute solution of formulation for half an hour before potting or repotting.
Disease Management in Orchids :
Orchids suffer from various pests and diseases like Mealybugs, Botrytis, and Root Rot.
Applying formulation directly to the plant and the surrounding growing media can help prevent these issues.
Probiotic Dosage at Various Growth Phases:
After Planting/Potting: 500 ml of formulation + appropriate volume of water for the size of the pot or growing setup + 1.35 kg of Epsom salt one day before applying. This should be done immediately after planting or potting and before new growth begins.
Vegetative Growth Phase: Repeat the after planting treatment once every two weeks to support growth until the plant is fully established.
Pre-bloom and Bloom Phase: Continue with the same dosage during the pre-bloom and bloom phase to enhance bloom size, color vibrancy, and fragrance, applying once every two weeks.
